I’ve become a bit in love with Makeup Revolution lately, and have been trying so many of their products. For a high street brand their products are such great quality for an unbelievable price.
I’m a bit of an eyeshadow palette hoarder. I love palettes, the more I have, the happier my eye draw is. The latest palette to my collection is the Redemption Palette – Iconic 3, from makeup revolution.
The shadows come in pretty basic packaging, but it’s sturdy and secure. It also comes with a dual tip applicator, which for me is pretty useless as I haven’t used them since primary school, but I like that the options there to use it, if needed.
The palette includes 12 beautiful shades, a mixture of satin, matte and shimmer shadows. Sticking with the theme of pink/brown tones. A complete dupe for the Naked Palette 3. I have very pale skin, so I can’t pull of dark colours as well as i’d like too. This palette is perfect for my skin tone. Some of the lighter colours, specifically the mattes aren’t as pigmented as the darker shimmery colours, however I actually like this as it enables me to build upon the colour to suit my personal preference. Also very handy if you’re new to applying eyeshadow, there’s nothing worse than not realising how pigmented a shade is and going a bit ott on the lids.
For £4 this is the perfect dupe for the Naked 3 Palette, the staying power isn’t as long lasting as N3, but I wouldn’t expect it to be. If you’re looking for a new nude palette at an affordable price, I do recommend giving this one a try.
